Air Force History
"I am faithful to a proud heritage, A Tradition of Honor, And a Legacy of Valor." - Airman's Creed.
The C/C's were asked what this specific line from the Airman's Creed meant to them during their AF History day earlier this week. During their lesson, they talked about different points of US Military History and stories of Airman from each of the events they touched on.
From WW2: The Bataan Death March, Vietnam: The 1968 Tet Offensive, Operation Desert Storm, and Operations Enduring/Iragi Freedom. Throughout the lesson, pre-selected C/C's got up to share a story about a specific person from each of these events.
These stories were not only about each person's actions, but the sacrificies they made and what they did to help others, showing what being an Airman meant to them.
"I am faithful to a proud heritage, A Tradition of Honor, And a Legacy of Valor."
