Parade Practice
Happy Monday Families!
Our photo opportunity today was parade practice. Also Charlie squadron got to do some motivational PT as well. The photos are up in the BMT gallery. Now don't stop reading yet. I spend a lot of brain cells on this blog. We were able to get photos of each squadron and I even have a couple of short video clips for you. Because they were in group formation, they are mostly group photos today. The prep school also had a visit from the new Commandant of Cadets, Brigadier General Michele Edmondson. After lunch, the afternoon and evening is filled with with more briefings. Tomorrow morning we will be up early again to catch more intramurals. Our plan is to give more love to the football players this time. Hopefully they will be out on the field.
Here are a few photos from this morning. Enjoy!
As I mentioned earlier, Charlie Squadron got the benefit of a little motivational PT thanks to some Basics who left their security drawers unlocked. The Cadre below was only too happy to provide the lesson about follwing orders and attention to detail.
While the Basics in the foreground below were busy trying to figure out which lock was theirs while doing planks, their squad mates were encouraging them while getting some pre-lunch PT. (BTW, you will notice that the Cadre never ask the Basics to do something they aren't willing to do themselves). Lesson learned. Good Times!
Ok. Below are the videos from drill. They are a little rough (as is the marching), lol. Sorry about the blurry. You will be amazed at how much they improve (as will my video) by the drill competition next week and even more by Parents Weekend. Enjoy.
