Preppies Participate In A Martin Luther King Day Volunteer Event

Yesterday, 15 C/C's participated in a Martin Luther King Day Volunteer Event at the Care & Share Food Bank in southern Colorado Springs.

The 15 C/C's were C/C Maia Young, C/C Bryan Augustin, C/C Orion Rodgers, C/C Derrick Dye, C/C Yamiya Fowlkes, C/C Adrian Robinson, C/C Lorie Coyne, C/C Aleah Harris, C/C Kevin Reichardt, C/C Isaiah Smith, C/C Julio Rosales, C/C Shannon Gray, C/C Ross Durkin, C/C Mia Chabanne and C/C Alexis Springfield.

In the 3 hours they were at the Care & Share Food Bank the C/C's boxed 655 boxes of food adding up to 20,000 pounds. They would've broke the record of 683 boxes but they ran out of boxes.
