Prep School PFT Spring 2022

It was a beautiful spring afternoon for the Prep CC's to do their Spring PFT test.  Thankfully the weather greatly improved from last weeks frigid temperatures!

Prep CC's are required to take the PFT (Physical Fitness Test) both in the Fall and Spring. 

The test was the same as last time consisting of Pull-ups, Standing Jump, Sit-ups, Push-ups, and 600 yard run.  They have two minutes to perform each event  1 minute rest (transition)  100 pts max in Each Event  500 pts total to max the Test.

Below is listed the requirements for each event.

 The fitness-testing program serves many purposes, including:

  • Promoting maximum fitness among the cadet wing
  • Developing a foundation for a lifetime of fitness
  • Recognizing cadets who excel in maintaining their personal fitness
