Prep School Rope Ceremony
We attended the Rope Ceremony for the Prep School Cadet Candidates on Friday. Please keep in mind that was very hectic when the groups of C/C approached the front and we weren't able to get a picture of every single C/C receiving their Rope.
Cadet Candidates who have reached military excellence by achieving the highest scores in military training, athletics and academics were awarded Ropes.
The different Ropes awarded during this ceremony were.
Dean’s Rope - Awarded to cadet candidates who achieve a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
The Dean's Rope was awarded to;
Alpha Squad: C/C Beth Abzun, C/C Michael Higgins, C/C Robert Rauff, C/C Adam Diaz, C/C Mariah Forde, C/C Hunter Brown, C/C Kristen Roberts, C/C Jose Rocha, C/C Jerry Severn, C/C Scott Huda, C/C Jared Barnett, C/C Cayne Cardwell, C/C Victor Kyle and C/C Ryan DeLung.
Bravo Squad: C/C Blake Fall, C/C Adrienne Yoder, C/C Tuan Nguyen, C/C Brett Martin, C/C David Ciaramella, C/C Justin Bishop, C/C Ryan Weber, C/C Asia Ayanyemi, C/C Paulina Baluck, C/C Kade Waguespack, C/C Cameron McAnany, C/C William Easley and C/C Mikayla Greens.
Charlie Squad: C/C Timothy Richard, C/C Carolina Escalante, C/C Matthew Iverson, C/C Sabrina Bressi, C/C Brock McArdle, C/C Matthew Wagner, C/C Micala Bruce, C/C Justin Becci, C/C Frankie Austin, C/C Miles Alexander and C/C David Ree.
Military Rope - Awarded to cadet candidates who achieve a Military Performance Average (MPA) in the top 10% of the Squadron.
The Military Rope was awarded to;
Alpha Squad: C/C Salmaan Noorani, C/C Joshua Miller and C/C Dandre Lemieux.
Bravo Squad: C/C Amanda Berry
Charlie Squad: C/C Jordan Locke, C/C Kyla Martin and C/C Caleb Holbrook.
Athletic Rope - Awarded to cadet candidates who achieve a Performance Fitness Test (PFT) score in the top 10% of the scores from the Fall 1 test.
The Athletic Rope was awarded to;
Alpha Squad: C/C William Ragland and C/C Gabriel Watkins.
Bravo Squad: C/C Gavin Graham and C/C James Jones.
Charlie Squad: C/C George Brown and C/C Jayden McCollum.
Vice Commander’s Rope - Awarded to cadet candidates who achieve outstanding performance in two of the three mission elements.
The Vice Commander's Rope was awarded to;
Alpha Squad: C/C Thomas Krzyzanwoski, C/C Zachary Kornblatt, C/C Shanasty Mahi-Lyons and C/C Austin Carlman.
Bravo Squad: C/C Graham Kennis, C/C Howard Bermudez, C/C Ludvig Oliver, C/C Luke Nimmo and C/C Stephen Rumsey.
Charlie Squad: C/C Kelsey Owens, C/C Julian Sanabria, C/C Khanh Nguyen, C/C Ashlee Salato, C/C Shayle Finnesand, C/C Zachary Warlick and C/C Haylle Lawrence.
Commander’s Rope - Awarded to cadet candidates who achieve outstanding performance in all three mission elements: academics, athletics, military training.
The Commander's Rope was awarded to;
Alpha Squad: C/C Marc Rees and C/C Juanita Londono Henao.
Bravo Squad: C/C Stefawn Perrin and C/C John Ireland.
With each Rope the C/C gets a privilege.
Dean’s Rope - 1 Overnight pass/month.
Military Rope - 1 Overnight pass/month.
Athletic Rope - 1 Overnight pass/month.
Vice Commander’s Rope - 2 Overnight passes/month.
Commander’s Rope - 1 Weekend pass/month.
Congratulations to all of the C/C's who received a Rope!
It also happened to be the Commander Col. Szybist's Birthday on Friday and the C/C's presented him a card.
