USAFA's Women's Panel
To start off the 50th Anniversary of Women at the Academy, the Cadet Candidates had a visit from five former graduates. The panel consisted of: Col. (retired) Carolyn Benyshek, Lt. Col. (retired) Leslie Darby, Capt. Kathleen Utley Kornahrens, and Capt. Carolyn Sammartino. These five women all attended the Prep School before heading up to the Hill to graduate from the Academy. These women spoke on the importance of perseverance and hardwork in order to achieve their goals.
