USAFA Planetarium
Originally built in 1959 and closed in 2004, The USAFA Planetarium recently reopened to the public earlier this month.
The facility offers state-of-the-art projection technology and immersive surround. There are 110 reclining seats (imported from Spain) to relax in while you take in one of the daily free shows offered to the public.
Currently, there are free shows being offered Monday thru Friday at 12:30 to the public. They expect to expand their show times during busy periods such as Graduation and Parent’s Weekend, so check the website to see what is available during your visit. They would love for you to stop by and enjoy the experience. Get there early and sit towards the back for the best view of the massive screen.
