My parents drove me from our home across the street from the Pentagon to a new airport in the boonies called Dulles. It was mostly a dirt road that took us there. They dropped me off and I took a flight out west to Colorado Springs. I then slept in a hotel room wondering what was to occur the following day when I was to attend this traditionally all-male military academy.

Charlene Class of '85 and William Class of '82 are now Legacy parents as their daughter is part of the class of 2027.
