CST Session 2 Air Field
The second summer session of Cadet Survival Training (CST) has begun with Alpha and Bravo participating in Emergency Parachute Principal Training at the airfield. The purpose of this training is to teach cadets emergency procedures if an ejection or bailout is required while conducting flying duties. A total of 157 cadets were trained this weekend.
The training took place at the 98th Training Facility. According to the USAFA website, this facility is typically used to train safety and emergency procedures, which enhance student confidence and maximize performance under extremely stressful conditions.
