100s Night Dining in Class of 2021

The Class of 2021 braved some frigid temperatures (it was 2 degrees at the start) to get to Mitchell Hall to Celebrate 100’s Night with a formal dinner in mess dress.  The dinner was only 30 minutes with plexiglass partitions in place to cut down on personal exposure.  This year was unlike any other due to Covid-19.  Masks were worn up until the time that they were seated at their squadron table.  Unlike other years there was no legacy present to celebrate with them.

The Commandant of Cadets, Major General Michele Edmondson oversaw the night’s ceremony and spoke to the Firsties about their experiences and achievements up to this point and told them there was much more to come in their last 100 days until graduation guiding the lower classes to the end of this semester. Lt. Gen. Richard Clark was not able to attend the event but a video message from him was played to the audience. Each first-class cadet received a commemorative mug to mark the occasion.

If we have done the math right, there are 102 days left until graduation.  All the first-class cadets were given overnight passes today for the rest of the 3-day weekend to celebrate if they choose.
