Jacks Valley - July 20
What is CBRNE?
CBRNE stands for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives.
Basic Cadets and all active duty military are given this training to help them learn the proper techniques of wearing chemical protective gear such as suits and masks. This training gives Basic Cadets the knowledge and skills needed for emergency situations and threats in case of real world situations.
While they no longer use real tear or pepper gas, the simulation helps the Basics learn how the chemical gear will protect them if they ever experience a CBRN attack. And it allows them the chance to feel and exeprience what it is like to wear the protective gear and mask for an extended amount of time.
The team was out and got every squadron but they did not come in planned order, so unfortunately today it's a where's waldo day! Photos can can be found in BCT 2 Gallery from the link below.
