Join the 54th Squadron
Did You Know?
The USAFA Cadet Wing consists of approximately 4,000 cadets arranged in 40 squadrons, each led from within by upper class cadets. The core leadership of each cadet squadron consists of element leaders, flight commanders and the squadron commander.
In a nod to the Academy's founding year (1954), the USAFA Endowment’s Parent and Family Giving has created the 54th Squadron program for enthusiastic cadet parents and family members who want to add an extra measure of support for cadets and the Academy by giving to key cadet-building programs.
Using the cadet wing leadership naming structure, supporters are recognized within the 54th Squadron according to their level of annual investment. The giving society’s benefits include recognition in the annual donor honor roll, a 54th Squadron lapel pin and challenge coin and access to the quarterly Leading Edge newsletter.
