USAFA UAS (Outside)
A couple of weeks ago we were at the RPA Operations Center giving you a look at what goes inside the building. This week we were outside with them at the Athletic Fields capturing a couple of cadets going through their Certification Flights.
Cadets Zahid and Duetscher finished up their upgrade process which certified them as small unmanned aircraft operators (SUAS-Os). This flight was to verify that the cadets meet standards in decision making, risk management, aircraft control, and airspace management.
