9/11 Remembrance Ceremony
The cadet wing participated in a 9/11 remembrance ceremony on 9/8.
The ceremony included an invocation, opening remarks, placement of memorial wreaths and the sounding of Taps. The ceremony takes place near the Academy's 9/11 memorial which was part of the Class of 1976's reunion class giving project.
Following the end of the ceremony, the cadets began a 19-hour memorial run with handoffs of a baton and firefighter's helmet.
