Airfield Friday!

Hello from Webguy! We're working hard to capture their cadet at the airfield this week. We've experienced multiple windy days and poor air quality from Colorado wild fires that have made conditions especially challenging for Jump. When the winds are too strong to safely continue, operations are paused until conditions improve. We are constantly at the airfield, hoping the winds will settle enough for the cadets to complete their jumps.

As soaring continues, students stay busy working with their instructor pilots, learning how to fly the gliders.  Many cadets also assist with moving the gliders to the launch line and working on the flight line. Safety is always our top priority, and everyone works together to ensure the best possible outcomes.  Webguy took time to capture the cadets preparing for their flights, and it is a wonderful experience to witness the excitement around the airfield at USAFA.

Webguy also photographed the cadets on the flight line after their powered flights. It's especially rewarding to see them after flying with their instructor, as they complete the procedures for securing and parking the aircraft.  Capturing these moments after their flights is an amazing achievement and a lasting memory we love sharing with all of their family.
