Tailor Shop
Basic Cadets from Hellcats and Executioners became the first members of the Class of 2030 to visit the Tailor Shop this week. The Hellcats visited the Tailor Shop this morning and the Executioners visited the Tailor Shop this afternoon. As part of the uniform issue process, Basics received their trousers and worked with Tailor Shop staff to ensure proper sizing and fit.
Throughout the day, staff members measured, fitted, and adjusted uniforms as needed, helping each Basic Cadet take another step toward meeting the professional standards expected at the U.S. Air Force Academy. While many more uniform items will be issued in the coming weeks, the receipt of their trousers marked the beginning of the tailoring and fitting process for the newest class of cadets.
As the first two squads through the Tailor Shop this year, Hellcats and Executioners set the pace for the remaining Basic Cadets who will follow in the weeks ahead.
