Class of 2029 Exemplar Dinner
The Class of 2029 have chosen "Halo" as their Exemplar.
Staff Sgt. William H. Pitsenbarger (1944-1966) was a U.S. Air Force Pararescueman and Medal of Honor recipient who gave his life while rescuing and caring for wounded soldiers during the Vietnam War. His extraordinary courage and selfless service have inspired generations of Airmen and are commemorated in the 2019 film The Last Full Measure and the book HALO: A Short Perspective on the Life and Legacy of Staff Sergeant William H. Pitsenbarger.
